Our creative collective of thinkers, designers and makers come from all walks of life and flex all types of skills to provide fresh perspectives rooted in Strategy, Design and Prototyping.The RoleThe Junior Premedia Artist manipulates client supplied art, optimizing it for efficient and correct film and digital output that will be used by the rest of the Prototyping Team. Premedia Artists use their experience with a client’s projects and their background in computer artwork production to offer creative solutions and direction beyond that which the client has supplied.

Preflight client files and evaluate artwork based on the requirements of the job. Determine if supplied artwork is acceptable and make recommendations to solve problems and complete projects.Analyze construction of client files and modify when needed; requiring advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop and proficiency in art creation and color correction.Analyze client files and make adjustments to digital files to achieve proper color conversion, image placement, and corrections.Use a variety of output devices: image setters, densitometers, color copiers, and large format inkjet printers.Maintenance of image setters, film processors, color printers and inkjet printers.Vendor contact and ordering of paper, film, and inkjet supplies.Qualifications
Working knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator with an emphasis on image creation, color correction, and spot colors for packaging.Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized.Must be customer-focused with a desire to produce the highest quality product in the industry.Excellent communication skills.Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably.0-2 years related experience.Other
Willing to work a shift starting at 12:00pm and ending at 8:30 PM (Including Lunch).
