A successful candidate will manage both strategic and tactical execution of marketing programs and drive integration through the company. This position serves as a liaison between Resilient and the cross-functional marketing team.What you'll do:Accountable for Resilient Product Marketing and Specialty Retail Channel marketing, including product positioning, placement strategy, sales enablement, in-store merchandising, and B2B activation strategy.Create ongoing, strategic dialogue with product management, brand management, and channel management to ensure the product information is being updated and distributed in a consistent format to all strategic stakeholders.Perform necessary competitive marketing analysis based on consumer insights, voice of customer, and financial data. Analyze results and take corrective actions to guarantee that achievement of product marketing objectives is achieved.Collaborate with the Marketing cross-functional team including Events, Trade Media, Creative, Brand, Customer Loyalty & Success, Ecomm, and Channel marketing to ensure successful execution of go-to-market plans.Represent marketing at all Resilient meetings and function as a liaison to the marketing organization. Accountable for reporting results and deliverables to the business team.Single point of contact that supports and drives the business strategy through the marketing function.What you have:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required. MBA preferred.Minimum of 15 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing and sales management.Experience in brand management that includes planning, budgeting, financial management analysis, and reporting.Demonstrated experience managing a team of employees.Intermediate to advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and business writing concepts and techniques.What you're good at:Budgeting and expense control to plan, implement, and control expenditure while maintaining and improving quality standards.High level of creativity, ingenuity, and judgment required.Playing a strategic and tactical role in serving as a catalyst and leader within the company.Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Experience negotiating between suppliers, operations, and sales groups.Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with management, internal and external business contacts.Excellent people leader skills to effectively lead and direct a diverse work group; to achieve results through team efforts, and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade and direct the activities of others.Proven ability to manage/implement projects and/or contribute to concept development.Problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to read and interpret highly complex business and financial documents in written, chart, or diagram form.Proficient with windows-based operating systems environment, spreadsheet (intermediate to advanced skill level), and database software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JD Edwards).What else?This role has 1 Direct Report.Approximately 20% travel.Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
