We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for this position.Position SummaryProvide overall support to the Marketing and Communications Division by working with strategic enrollment management (SEM), undergraduate and graduate admissions, faculty, marketing team and external vendors to execute an integrated marketing strategy that meets and exceed undergraduate enrollment goals.Serve as primary contact liaison for all undergraduate enrollment marketing initiatives, materials, projects, budgets, and strategies. Maintain a deep understanding of undergraduate enrollment strategy and undergraduate marketplace.Supervise a team of two (2) marketing staff.Drive day-to-day execution of campaigns, marketing projects, and materials with the support of the marketing and communications operations team, including, but not limited to, website content, email content, print materials, sponsorships, ad buys, digital advertising campaigns, video production, and graphic design.Work with strategic enrollment management (SEM) and undergraduate admissions to develop marketing plans that support enrollment. Meet regularly to strategize, plan, and measure enrollment marketing campaigns.Bring innovative marketing strategies forward to support the recruitment of new undergraduate students.Maximize the social and digital channels and develop metrics and tracking systems with SEM and graduate admissions that measure marketing outcomes and ROI.Assist in the development of a content strategy that supports University goals. Develop content that can be used to achieve multiple goals and for multichannel distribution. Collaborate with all areas of the marketing team.Work with SEM and Undergraduate Admissions to manage the undergraduate marketing budget.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other AttributesBachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications or a related field.5 years of experience in enrollment marketing & communications or related roles.Understanding of higher education lifecycle or applied similar experience.Understanding of digital strategies and their impact.Passion for content strategy and execution of projects leading to results.Must be willing to work against tight deadlines while balancing multiple projects at once.Sound ethical decision-making skills, enthusiasm, and respect for confidential issues.Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and accountable to schedules.Excellent communication skills, along with strong writing, editorial, proof-reading skills.Collaborator/Liaison. Must be a proactive communicator and a team player, eager and able to anticipate and uncover new opportunities and needs. Should have a personality that facilitates active collaboration with internal departments to support and produce marketing materials. Also acts as a steward of the SHU brand identity with regard to enrollment communications.Unusual Working ConditionsEvening and weekend hours may be required.
