Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing will lead Brohn Homes' marketing efforts, developing strategies that align with company goals and drive demand across various channels. The role involves managing an internal marketing team, collaborating with external vendors, and ensuring the effective use of Brohn's CRM for customer insights and campaign management. This individual will collaborate with the Sales department and connect with our parent and sister companies within Clayton Homes, drawing on their resources while crafting and executing an innovative marketing approach unique to Brohn Homes and the Austin market. Though support is available, the Director of Marketing will lead and shape the department's strategy, ensuring Brohn's brand and goals remain distinct and forward-thinking.
Duties / Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support Brohn Homes' annual sales target. Align all marketing activities with the company's long-term goals and core values.Budget Management : Oversee the marketing budget to ensure effective allocation of resources and high ROI. Track and manage costs, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial objectives.Brand Strategy and Positioning : Establish and maintain a distinct brand strategy for Brohn Homes that reflects our mission and values. Ensure consistent messaging, visuals, and voice across all channels.Digital Marketing and SEO : Lead comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid search, social media, email marketing, and website creation and management, to engage potential buyers and drive traffic. Regularly analyze digital marketing performance, leveraging data to make informed adjustments that enhance results and ROI.Content Marketing, PR, and Community Marketing : Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing content-including blogs, social media posts, newsletters, and press releases-to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Lead the creation and management of community marketing initiatives, including presales for new communities and signage, to drive local awareness and support sales objectives. Build and maintain media relationships, and coordinate with PR agencies as necessary to strengthen Brohn Homes' public presence.Customer Insights and Market Research : Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Leverage insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.Event Planning and Execution : Plan and execute marketing events, community grand openings, community events, and sales-driven initiatives in collaboration with Sales and third-party vendors. Ensure these events deliver high-quality, memorable customer experiences.KPI Development and Reporting : Establish KPIs for marketing activities and report on metrics and ROI to the executive team. Use data-driven insights to refine and improve strategies continually.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Sales and Operations to align marketing initiatives with company goals. Foster strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure marketing effectively supports sales efforts.Lead Generation and CRM Optimization : Develop lead-generation strategies and optimize HubSpot CRM to capture, nurture, and convert leads. Improve conversion rates and strengthen the sales pipeline through effective lead management.Team Development and Mentorship : Build a positive and creative team environment. Mentor team members, conduct regular feedback sessions, and encourage continuous learning and professional growth.Innovation and Trend Spotting : Stay updated on marketing trends, technologies, and industry advancements. Integrate innovative strategies and tools to maintain Brohn Homes' competitive edge.Crisis Management and Reputation Monitoring : Develop strategies for reputation management and crisis response. Monitor social media sentiment, online reviews, and industry news to proactively manage Brohn Homes' reputation.Compliance and Ethical Standards : Ensure all marketing activities meet industry standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines, upholding transparency and integrity.Qualifications:
Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years in marketing, preferably within the homebuilding or real estate industry.Technical Skills : Proficient in HubSpot CRM, marketing analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Industry Knowledge : Knowledge of homebuilding processes and financing rates is preferred.Leadership Skills : Proven experience managing a team, with the ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate effectively.Interpersonal Skills : Demonstrated success in collaborating cross-functionally, with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Location:
This is an onsite position based in Austin, TX, with occasional travel required to vendor meetings, sales offices, and Clayton Homes offices.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This role primarily operates onsite at home construction communities and in a professional office environment. Standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, is used regularly. Community environments may have higher noise levels.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, use hands, and reach with arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, nonexempt position. A nonexempt employee is one who is entitled to the minimum wage and/or overtime pay protections of the FLSA. The anticipated work schedule for this position will be set during normal Call Center hours of operation and determined by business need.
Travel:
Must be willing to travel dependent on company need to all Brohn location, vendor meetings, and Clayton Home Office.
