POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Marketing Director oversees all aspects of Tampico’s global brand and marketing strategy, providing insight to the Executive Team and across departments. This position ensures that the marketing team delivers high-quality, consistent, and relevant messages and experiences to the target audience while adhering to the brand guidelines and standards. Additionally, they lead all brand campaign elements across all platforms, both digitally and on socials. The role is responsible for the creation and implementation of the overall marketing plan, campaign and budget, including designs and execution of labels, point of sale (POS), promotional material, and distinctive brand assets along with the development of all web content, interactive media, and multimedia projects. The Senior Marketing Director reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the marketing team and across other departments and stakeholders.
Utilize consumer and competitive knowledge to identify and build solutions and strategies for growth.
Lead all Brand campaign elements with selected creative agencies across the digital/social media platforms.
Oversee the implementation of Tampico brand licensing opportunities and packaging design.
Create and maintain packaging design, library/brand and presentation assets of all sales and marketing materials.
Manage and lead the development of brand standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years of experience in leading the marketing department in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry required; food and beverage industry experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field required; Masters degree a plus.
Skill in rendering, illustrating, sketching and interpreting messages into visual and metaphorical form.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to multi-task and is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proven ability to plan and manage marketing budget.
Knowledge of computer-generated graphics programs and graphic design layout.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of photo processing techniques, printing procedures and its requirements.
Able to travel up to 5%.
Must reside in the Chicagoland area.
