About the Position:
The Brand Marketing Manager is a marketing position which works closely with the Brand Experience Director and Creative Director to manage and execute the BEDGEAR brand across key touchpoints such as retail experience, showrooms, and digital touchpoints. This role will ensure all BEDGEAR marketing materials are aligned with the brand voice, tone & feel and will be critical for bringing the brand voice to the market with trade engagement and retail facing solutions.
What's Expected (including but not limited to):
Manage the process for establishing brand position and tracking brand performance with brand experience director.
Develop in-store and POP solutions to enhance and elevate BEDGEAR performance across the retail channel.
Manage brand projects to support the development of visuals, voice, and tone.
Work with brand experience and creative directors to align priorities and objectives for marketing asset requests, while ensuring on-time and on-brand execution.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to develop marketing strategies for new product launches and/or existing products.
Responsible for implementation of marketing materials across channels with effective distribution processes.
Own the maintenance and distribution of the brand book as our company continues to grow.
Provide direction and requests assets from creative for updates.
Ensure that all our standards are up-to-date and accurate.
Own brand protection through the trade channel.
Execute brand training for sales, marketing, and sales support departments.
Work with brand experience and creative director to establish communication strategy for the brand across in store and digital touchpoints and ensure execution of new assets aligns with the established strategy.
Take brand ownership by ensuring all marketing materials meet required standards and objectives.
Manage promotional planning and execution for retail.
Partner with the sales organization to define and set promotional calendar.
Work with sales and creative to define promotional materials.
Project manage the execution and distribution of promotional materials.
Manage consumer journey insights and translate insights into actionable projects to drive/enhance our marketing material development.
As needed, support additional brand experience and retail activation initiatives as a back-up within the department.
Use independent judgment to effectively prioritize, organize, and delegate work orders.
Assist in additional projects as requested by management.
Key Deliverables (including but not limited to):
Brand Guidelines
POP Order Guide and Retail Look book
POP fixtures, displays and communication to support all products and categories.
Brand Positioning documentation
Deliverable list for product launches and campaigns
Annual brand plan for assets, in store, and messaging
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
HS Diploma or GED.
BFA or MFA highly preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension).
Must have and be willing to use personal transportation for local errands.
Must be willing to travel approximately 2-4 times per year if requested.
Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
High-level proficiency with various creative software and applications such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.
Exceptional communication and intrapersonal skills.
Must have an understanding of pre-and post-production.
Must have a strong aesthetic sense.
Education/Experience/License Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in creative, marketing or retail management role.
In-house experience (opposed to agency only) highly preferred.
Experience with brand management, retail development.
Must have experience working in a fast-paced office.
Knowledge of RedBooth a *plus*.
Vendor sourcing and management experience.
Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
