Duties and Responsibilities (**Denotes essential functions)
Responsible for assisting degree and non-degree Program Coordinators with coordinating, implementing, and updating EEC marketing plan.Creates a monthly digital EEC newsletter in cooperation with Program Coordinators for distribution to alumni and interested candidates.Plans and assists in managing marketing/outreach activities according to EEC recruitment needs.Creates branded content in cooperation with Program Coordinators and EEC Executive Director (ED), including but not limited to event flyers, newsletters, network announcements, blog posts, website updates, and press releases.Coordinates and updates marketing staff at ERO on all EEC specific content for posting to all social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.Manages email marketing functions, including regular email blasts, email campaign analytics and Constant Contact list management.In collaboration with ERO staff, maintains brand consistency across all EEC outreach activities and marketing materials.Assists in identifying potential new markets, products, and services. Understands customer trends, competitive services, and local and national issues that could potentially impact our organizational success.Supports the development and publishing of client success stories.Conducts special marketing projects as directed by supervisor.Provides administrative assistance to EEC Program Coordinators and ED.Other duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsPossession of a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, or related field and zero (0) year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.Functional knowledge and understanding of principles, practices and techniques in the area of effective marketing efforts, demonstrated by knowledge, understanding and ability to apply concepts, terminology.Functional knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and systems associated with marketing programs.Demonstrated ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes, and resolve the full range of problems that may commonly occur in the area of marketing activities.Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation, write reports and procedures, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members, and individuals.Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer, apply Microsoft word processing software.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.Demonstrated ability to perform or learn database management and apply commonly used software.
Desirable QualificationsWorking knowledge of EEC programs and degree/non-degree market audiences.Working knowledge of Mailchimp and Canva platforms.Able to use Canva and Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.Detail oriented.Design/layout and social media marketing skills.
