Busitants Inc. requires a UX Designer for its offices in Providence, RI who will work with the product team to analyze user research and data to create personas, information architecture, and analyze user feedback and surveys. Responsibilities include:
Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Create personas through user research and data.Collaborate on user experience planning.Map out interaction user workflows that consider cross-product integration.Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.Utilize in-depth knowledge of functional and technical experience in user research and analysis in conjunction with Insurance domain experience and business skills to deliver automation solutions in an Agile environment.Research interaction design trends and technology trends.Understand product specifications and user psychology.Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., usability, findability).Participate in product research and analysis.Conduct user surveys, user testing, and gather feedback to develop wireframes and interactive prototypes using Balsamiq, Axure, and Framer.Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs.Design or modify existing low and high-fidelity mockup designs.Create user interface designs and mockups, ensuring alignment with brand standards using tools like Framer, Sketch, and Figma.Collaborate with UI designers to implement the designs.Adhere to and champion brand standards in designs.Create original user interface elements (e.g., icons, widgets, status trackers, etc.).Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs.Present demos and presentations to stakeholders to gain feedback and communicate designs to developers.Manage multiple project requests on tight timelines.Lead internal design presentations.Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers.Position requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study with 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field with five (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or related field. The employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Travel is required to unanticipated client locations all over the United States.
