Director of Communications
in our Dallas, TX office. This leader will lead the development and execution of corporate communications, directed at the financial and investment community, media relations and outreach & awareness strategies. This role will lead communications, media relations and the investor relations function and should have C Level mindset. This is a highly influential and innovative role that will report directly to the Executive Chairman.
Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement the corporate communication strategy and budget focused on external audiences.Establish and lead communications and outreach strategies.Lead the development of corporate and external communications strategies.Draft and edit a wide variety of written communications including Q&A documents and media releases.Strategize and create all external communications material which may include annual report, content for MD&A, social media, corporate deck (presentation), website and more.Work with management on preparing content and annual schedule for investor conferences and the enCore Energy annual investor conference.Serve as central source for educating and updating investors on the Company’s performance.Provide support for external events and conferences and media interviews.Develop relevant key corporate messages and strategically use them whenever possible in corporate storytelling and narrative opportunities to effectively engage key stakeholders.Create resourceful messaging in various mediums and be innovative with messaging.Excellent writing skills.As the primary point-of-contact for our external community, hosts calls, meetings, and other events with or on behalf of executive management.Prepares executive management team for quarterly earnings releases, including script development and any live Q&A preparation.Monitor presence in the media and provide timely/relevant updates to management.Prepare regular updates regarding shareholder matters for the executive team and Board of Directors.Supports the production of all annual reports, SEC filings, sustainability report and proxy statements.Organizes conferences, earnings conference calls, and investor meetings.Develop shareholder targeting analytics and implement plan for engaging shareholders.Responsible for the IR content which would include related disclosures.Maintain and update IR calendar, including travel, events and deadlines.Travel is required for the position.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsA minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience.A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in a US listed public company including significant management responsibility.Candidates with prior public market financial, uranium, oil, gas and extractive industries is preferred.Bachelor’s degree required in one or more of the following areas: marketing, finance, business administration, communications or related field. Graduate degree preferred.Experience with development and execution of corporate communications, media relations and media platform strategies.Has proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, investors, customers, and vendors.Prefer experience communicating with public equity investors and public equity research analysts.Basic understanding of Securities and Exchange Commission disclosures regulations is a plus.Experience in preparing of communications, quarterly earnings presentations, press releases, and leadership scripts.Ability to travel as needed for this position.Desirable to have book of investor contacts.
