We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Product Marketing to drive the strategic positioning and growth of Labcorp’s Clinical Trial Enablement Services offerings via the Real World Data (RWD) team. This role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies, understanding market dynamics, and enhancing our product’s value proposition. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align product innovations with market needs and drive overall business success.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Research:

Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis. Engage with customers and industry experts to gather insights that refine target market segments and audience understanding.

Product Evangelism:

Champion the product internally and externally to enhance brand visibility and drive adoption.

Product Innovation:

Stay attuned to customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive activities to inform product roadmap and innovation strategies.

Product Marketing Strategy:

Lead the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and campaigns for existing products.

Strategic Market Positioning:

Identify key market segments and personas, tailoring messaging and positioning strategies to effectively reach and resonate with the target audience.

Go-to-Market Execution:

Develop and implement GTM strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams. Drive business growth for existing products, in partnership with Customer Marketers and Commercial/Sales team.

Enablement and Training:

Work with internal SMEs to develop and deliver training materials, sales collateral, and demos to empower Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. Support lead generation and enhance conversion through sales kits, case studies, and other collateral.

Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization:

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Marketing teams to continuously track and optimize the marketing leads and sales funnel for your products.

Short-Term Objectives:

Gain a deep understanding of the RWD team’s target market, including sponsors, CROs, and clinical trial enablement services/products.

Develop and implement a GTM strategy for new services/products in the Clinical Trial Enablement segment of the RWD business, including creating product sales enablement materials.

Facilitate communication between product/business and sales teams to refine the new product strategy and offering.

Support pricing evaluations and assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies for the new product.

Long-Term Objectives:

Conduct ongoing market intelligence and analysis, acting as a subject matter expert on competitive offerings and market trends.

Support the GTM strategy and branding for the full Clinical Trial Enablement product suite, including next-gen solutions and integration with the Global Trial Connect team.

Evaluate and enhance marketing strategies for live products/services to support new sales and customer retention.

Lead marketing efforts for expanded RWD product releases and enhancements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Real World Data (RWD) or Real World Evidence (RWE) with a strong understanding of the clinical trial industry.

Minimum of 12 years of professional experience with a minimum of 7 years of product marketing within the healthcare or life sciences industry.

Demonstrated expertise in product marketing, particularly in life sciences services.

Strong understanding of how data is used to support clinical trials, specifically in trial design, site/country selection, site enablement, and patient recruitment space.

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; MBA with a focus on Marketing is a plus.

Exceptional attention to detail, storytelling, and communication skills.

Strong copywriting, editing, and interpersonal abilities.

Creative, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects independently and effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.

Pay Range:

$117,000 - $130,000 + bonus

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
