Promote the mission and brand of Prestonwood Christian Academy School System with excellence to prospective and
current families through video production, graphic design, and creation of social media content.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to capture and record video and photography content for digital distribution on social media and various platforms.Ability to capture and record video and photography content, for digital distribution on social media and various platforms.Technical ability to conduct video shoots, editing ability a plusMotivated self-starter who can take projects from original concept to complete final productAbility to work independently and with a team contributing to school related and system wide projects.Create content from school activities and events for shorts, long form recaps, and storiesBrainstorm with Marketing & Communications Team to bring ideas to life through video presentationKeep track of PCA video equipment, video supplies, and video shoot schedulesAssist in maintenance of video archivesAttend and coordinate video needs for assigned school events (including some evenings and weekends)Other duties as assigned by Digital Media ProducerQualifications
Qualifications/Skills:
Four-year college degree, with a concentration in video production, or the equivalent obtained through training and experienceMinimum two years' experience with video production and editing in a professional environment OR of camera experience with Canon, Nikon, Sony, DJI, or other related DSLR recording capability with an understanding of frame rates, dimensions, LUTS, recording color temperature and color correction in post-production.Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier, Photoshop, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, and Illustrator and/or Final Cut XExcellent organization, time management and multitasking skillsPrestonwood Baptist Church member preferredPhysical, Mental Requirements and Work Environment:
Lifting between 30 to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterityRegularly uses close and distance visionWorks primarily at a desk with computer screen for extended periods of time, 50% sitting, other 50% in a live event environment walking & standing.Turns, bends, reaches and may occasionally use a step stool or ladderWorks primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environmentFrequent outside travel between buildings or for outside video shoots, at PCA Plano and PCA North
