We're Looking for an 'A' Player
The Marketing Intern (Generalist) will work closely with our marketing team to support a wide range of marketing activities. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to learn, adaptable, and interested in exploring different facets of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and market research.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Assist in creating, editing, and publishing content for blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.Social Media Management: Help manage and monitor social media accounts, schedule posts, and engage with followers.Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to help inform marketing strategies.Email Marketing: Support the creation and distribution of email newsletters and promotional campaigns.Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights; assist in compiling reports.Event Support: Assist with the planning and execution of virtual or in-person events, webinars, and promotional activities.Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional teams on marketing projects, such as product launches and brand initiatives.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and other tasks as needed.Qualifications:
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or recent graduate).Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.Digital Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts.Tools: Basic knowledge of tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and any marketing software (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp) is a plus.Creativity: Ability to think creatively and contribute fresh ideas to marketing campaigns.Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Project needs:

Internships are paid hourly at 40-hour work weeks, generally offered between May-AugustAll intern positions are based at our office in West Des Moines, IAHybrid - 4 days in office and 1 day remoteAll interns will be expected to secure their own housing
