Be a Lighting Designer for Paisley Park, where art, music, events, fashion, culture, and history are celebrated, energized, and inspired by the visionary creative spirit of Prince. This is a On-Call position located within the Production Department when there are events being hosted onsite at Paisley Park
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Lighting Designer include:Efficiently run all lighting aspects during eventsWorking with events team and production team to create the right lighting show for each eventAbility to turn an idea into a lighting concept and moodOther duties as assignedQualifications
The key qualifications of the Textile Conservator include:
Experience working as a lighting designer at eventsKnowledge of multiple lighting consoles and formatsExcellent communication skillsExcellent attention to detailExperience working with a team and independently - the ability to develop effective working relationshipsMust be able to work under pressure, including time constraints, and achieve results thoroughly and quicklyOther duties as assigned
Some knowledge of Prince is helpful but not required
Note: As Prince was a pescatarian, Paisley Park is a pescatarian food environment. Eggs, fish, and cheese are fine; beef, pork, chicken, and other meats can be eaten in your car, or you may take meals off-site.
If offered the position, the offer is contingent upon passing a background check and a four-panel background screen which does NOT include THC.
