Global Marketing Myasthenia Gravis (MG) Lead , who is of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and an in-depth understanding of the market to join us in our Global MG Rare Disease Team. This position can be based at any one of our three UCB locations: Atlanta, GA; Raleigh, NC; or Boston, MA.About the role This position requires a strong leader and insight integrator acting across the value chain for the indication and the asset. The role will strengthen the overall asset in response to the company goals to foster growth, innovation, contribute to market leadership, and to enhance UCB's commitment in Myasthenia Gravis.The Global Marketing Lead MG is a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and an in-depth understanding of the market. It also requires a key focus on team building and the orchestration and integration of strategies to meet stakeholder needs and deliver best patient outcomes, benefiting as many lives as possible and creating societal impact.They will have already played a leading role in the launch of one or more major pharmaceutical brands where success was contingent on the introduction and adoption of new treatment practices or disease models. This person will understand the steps required to cultivate key stakeholder "owners" among clinicians and patient advocates, align language and expectations around unmet needs and opportunities, and clear commercial and institutional obstacles to usage.Who you'll work with
Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on market data.Collaborate with senior leadership to align asset indication strategies with business goals and regulatory and healthcare systems requirements.Engage with key stakeholders, internally and externally to ensure the orchestration of asset strategy meets the needs of all stakeholders to deliver the best patient and caregivers outcomes, improving lives.Ensure alignment and collaboration with US, EU and IM countries, regional teams, medical affairs, patient engagement, market access, regulatory and commercial teams.What you'll do
Strategic Planning and Execution: Realize PSLT (Patient Strategy Leadership Team) deliverables.Implement global marketing strategy and objectives for the assigned indication that align with corporate.Recommend and drive data and evidence supporting differentiation required for the indication.Foster a culture of continuous learning and advancing the company reputation and leadership in Myasthenia Gravis.Act as a strong team builder to orchestrate the asset indication strategy across various stakeholders.Oversee the development and implementation of global brand strategies for the assigned indication.Responsible for visual/branding and asset core claims/message development G2L and long-term narrative across stakeholders.Guide market analysis and research to identify opportunities, trends, and threats specific to the assigned indication.Ensure consistent positioning and brand messaging across all markets in coordination with the other indications.Master data analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence to drive informed decision-making.Monitor regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and market trends specific to the indication to stay ahead.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies.Regularly assess and report on the performance of marketing initiatives specific to the assigned indication(s).Good understanding of healthcare ecosystems, particularly how payers and regulatory bodies recognize and value innovation. Ability to navigate access challenges to ensure market success especially in key markets in US, EU and Rest of the World.Experience in working with payers and understanding their criteria for recognizing and reimbursing innovative treatments.Ability to navigate the complex landscape of healthcare access, ensuring that innovative treatments are recognized and valued by payers, thereby facilitating successful market entry and sustainability.Interested? Education: BA/BS degree, scientific and business background preferred.Minimum of 10+ years in progressively strategic leadership roles accountable for influencing business strategy with measurable results, preferably in both global and local roles.Global leadership and in-country operational launch execution: Demonstrable ability to work at and with Global and Regions/Countries including US/EU/RoW.Lifecycle: Proven experience of partnership with access, commercial, medical and other functions to establish lifecycle plans.This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $160,000 - $210,000 annually.
