Review and evaluate cost estimatesCommunicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projectsPrepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all productsEnsure timely completion of estimatesUnderstand scope of work to bidManage bid pricing from all vendorsPrepare cost analysisEstablish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractorsThe Desired Print Media Estimator Candidate will Possess the Following Skills/Experience:
Maintain a professional, respectful and positive demeanorTake direction and follow through on assignmentsIntermediate computer skills requiredPrior use of EPMS or other MIS system a plusPrior experience in a print environment very helpfulMust be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area and volumeMust be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization existsMust be able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or spread sheet form and be able to develop a plan for pricingLimited overtime, as needed.The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a printing environment, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven
