We are looking for colleagues who are dedicated to critically engaging in their teaching and research, who see strength in the diversity of our student community, and who are committed to challenging themselves and the School as we seek to grow and strengthen our work.Brief Description of DutiesThe successful candidate will teach a weeklong course focusing on historically underrepresented and marginalized composers and communities in the field of music education. The course will unpack decolonial practices in music education, specifically related to inquiry-based pedagogy and culturally responsive teaching.The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of a commitment to equity and inclusion through their research, teaching, and/or service. The candidate must demonstrate awareness and experience understanding the needs of a student population of great diversity - in age, abilities, cultural background, ethnicity, religion, economic background, primary language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and academic preparation - through inclusive course materials, teaching strategies and advisement.Faculty shall organize all their classes within the
