Defense Technology Integration Llc is hiring: Audio Visual Network Engineer in B

DTI is seeking multiple Audio / Visual Engineers to support the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, Maryland. 

The candidate will design, operate, modernizae, and maintain AV systems for multiple conference rooms in multiple buildings. Key responsibilities include:

• Audio Visual system architectural design
• Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot switches, controllers, AMX, Netgear, and Crestron systems
• Manage, operate, and troubleshoot Q-SYS audio video software to integrate distribtuion, video switching, and control automation
• Troubleshoot Q-SYS standards-based network infrastructure based on AVB and Dante protocols to distribute high-quality aduio signals over the network, reducing the need for extensive cabling and complex routing 
• Manage and operate digital signal processing and system control
• Ensure AV system integration with network equipment and existing IT systems
• Manage network protocols and IP-based AV systems
• Operate, maintain, troublelshoot polycom units, LCD displays, flat panel displays, ceiling-mounted pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) cameras, digital recorders, monitors, mics, amplifiers, and cabling
• Troubleshoot AV software applications, build and deploy customer designs tailored to eac environment's uniue needs
• Manage AV Quality of Service
• Ability to complete the CTS AVIXA certification
• Research AV equipment and recommend advanced technology for infrastructure modifications
