AV Sales Engineer- Beaverton, ORRoomReady is looking to expand our AV Engineering team with a responsible, customer-focused, results driven individual. The AV Sales Engineer will provide support and expertise to our sales team and project managers to take complex audio-visual systems from start to completion with client acceptance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 year of experience in AV design, job-cost quotes, and system drawings. This a hybrid role, requiring in-person reporting, 3 days a week, to the Beaverton, OR office. Provide accurate measurements and calculations to support AV system designs. Provide a detailed material list and account for all job costs associated with projects assigned. Create accurate project estimation from a needs analysis or set of bid documents, typically consisting of a set of job drawings and a specification book. Create submittal and installation documentation that is required for a given project. Produce all system drawings and documentation required of the project, including but not limited to one-line documents, rack elevations, BOM, Change Orders, RFI's, O&M manuals, close-out documentation and as-built documentation and drawings. Specific required qualifications for the AV Engineer position include: Technical understanding Superb problem-solving skills High aptitude for learning Highly adaptable to change Strong attention to detail Intermediate computer skills in MS Office Must be capable of working well both independently or as part of a team. Cisco and/or Cisco partner experience is a plus.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Design Engineering or equivalent professional experience. CTS-D or ability to achieve within 6 months of employment. Strong aptitude and desire to learn AV design and systems engineering. Proficiency in digital signal processing software. Strong work ethic, drive, and aptitude may be considered in lieu of, for the right candidate.Compensation & BenefitsThe hiring range starts at $85,000 (more depending on qualifications) per year depending on experience and location. This position must report in-person to the Beaverton, OR office on a hybrid schedule, some remote work is possible.
