CAR Audio & Security has successfully served the Raleigh/Wake Forest area for over 25 years. The owner has 30 years of experience and is still hands-on every single day. Whoever applies should understand this is a skill, it is delicate, and fewer and fewer people understand it. The owner LOVES this industry and is looking for one or two more installers who love it and want to become experts like him.

This position is not for someone who has installed a few radios and amplifiers for friends and family over the last few years.

This position is for someone who loves the automotive industry

Requirements:

• At least 2 years, of full-time, installation experience in an actual car audio, 12-volt shop
• Valid driver's license,
• Your own tools,
• Knowledge on how to install an amplifier and subwoofer in a 2024 BMW 3 series as well as a 2004 Ford F150 and if they don't they should at least know one is different than the other.

We are looking for someone who knows enough to install independently on 2004 F150 and is capable of learning from the owner why that 2024 BMW is different while appreciating what he is learning and enjoying finding out the difference. We need someone who already understands the science and physics of 12 volts and can solder like it's 2nd nature and knows why it's better than T Taps. If you want to learn more about the 12-volt industry, if you want to learn from a true expert, if you can work Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6 pm, if you are willing to put aside what you have learned so far and are willing to learn it all over again from the owner and do it the owner's way, then please apply.

Pay is dependent on experience.

We will call you first for a preliminary phone interview and then request a practical, working interview of about 2-3 hours.
