POSITION SUMMARY: The Content SEO Specialist will be responsible for conducting research, analyses, and audits to support the strategy and optimization of Dayton Superior's search engine optimization efforts. This role will work closely with the marketing team to create search engine on-page optimization through effective website content creation, web page development, use of meta descriptions and title tags, as well as off-page backlinking and company profiles. Formulating metrics and creating custom monthly reporting allowing the Marketing team to identify and implement SEO tactics and best practices. This position will use creative, communication and analytical skills to help further define our SEO impact, enhance our online presence and image, improve website functionality through SEO initiatives and help drive growth through effective SEO strategies. Must be a creative, innovative, multimedia savvy, self-starter who is also a team-player. Good communication a must. Candidates should have a solid understanding of SEO and website content development to drive highly effective improvements to enhance Dayton Superior's rankings and visibility online. Experience with SEM is a plus.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Grow Dayton Superior's SEO impact •Create on-page Search Engine Optimization and User Experience solutions. •Have an in-depth understanding of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing processes and strategy. •Maintain and enhance all current Search Engine Optimization and website content development initiatives for the Dayton Superior website. •Conduct ongoing professional research and education, staying up to date on industry trends and shifts in SEO best practices. •Work as a marketing liaison to our IT Dept. to support programmable strategies needed to enhance SEO •Recommend and assist in development of effective online content such as keywords, blogs, metadata, etc in support of SEO improvements. •Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this role successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using HTML. Experience in SEO tools and Google Analytics. Strong written and verbal communication skills.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: SEO Certification, Degree in digital marketing or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of related SEO content development and/or website development experience preferred. Experience gained in a B2B environment a plus. Current on SEO. website development and marketing trends. 2+ years of SEO experience preferred. Experience with web analytics, strong presentation skills, attention to detail and organizational skills required.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Experience using Google Analytics.
