Position Title: Digital Content Manager
Location: Remote, USA based
Position Type: Full Time
Salary: $72,000 annually plus a benefits package that includes fully paid health insurance and other employer paid benefits, employer retirement contribution, telework, paid family and medical leave, paid vacation, paid sick and safe days, Flexible Spending Account Plan and partial internet and phone reimbursements.

Principal Responsibilities:
The Digital Content Manager/Specialist reports to the Digital Director, who, in partnership with their team, will:
- Ideate, deliver, and report on engagement and communication plans to cultivate meaningful connections and meet organizational goals for organizing issues and programs
- Lead, manage, and engage in multiplatform content creation and publication (email, web, events primarily)
- Lead the development of content strategy with internal and external teams
- Create and maintain a content roadmap to structure content creation
- Create engaging, compelling, persuasive and educational content and digital events for publication, and distribution across multiple platforms/channels
- Manage content creation by internal and external sources
- Support paid media campaigns for lead generation and influencing
- Adopt best practices for various communication channels and identify opportunities to optimize
- Campaigns, Strategy, and ideation
- Lead and participate in digital campaigns, strategy and ideation research, execution, and presentation
- Lead, manage, and engage in multiplatform content creation and publication (email, web, events primarily)
- Establish frameworks to produce content that upholds FV@W brand voice, build a base of advocate-supporters, and inspire target audiences
- Utilize project management and communication tools and practices to set expectations for deliverables and steward content production process
- Manage content creation by internal and external sources
- Training/skills sharing
- Lead group and one-on-one skills sharing sessions to improve staff/network digital communication fluency (for example, social media tutorials, email best practices, etc.)
- CMS and CRM Management
- Utilize CMS and CRM to manage audience engagement, education, persuasion, and base building practice
- Lead the development and optimization of engagement ramps
- Own audience segmentation and messaging
- Create and distribute reports on campaign progress, and impact
- Measure campaign and content effectiveness and refine to improve performance to maximize results (in partnership with programmatic teams)
- Ideate, deliver, and report on engagement and communication plans to cultivate meaningful connections and meet organizational goals for organizing issues and programs
- Maintain and positively contribute to the team’s culture of collaboration, innovation, and a collegial work environment where team members work closely to solve problems and engage in “rapid response” to messaging moments.
- Assist in documenting processes and procedures
- Support programmatic staff with digital resource, guidance, and production
- Keep abreast with and socialize digital engagement and digital communications best practices.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Outstanding communication, listening, collaboration, and strong interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (current and emerging), best practices, and website analytics.
- Demonstrated success creating content in a variety of formats and for a range of channels
- Strong writing and editing skills with particular attention to detail and tone; experience working with content creators
- 2+ years of experience in digital campaign management and content production.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and experience working with a CMS and CRM.
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS, Salsa Engage, Canva, Monday.com, Sprout Social, HootSuite, NationBuilder, Google Analytics or similar technologies.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities
- Proficiency in managing a thriving community on social media platforms
- An interest in exploring trends, and emerging technologies and networks (like AI/ChatGPT, Threads, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital marketing technologies and strategies.
- Audio-video content production, and live event broadcasting/streaming a plus
- Graphic design, website development are also a plus
- Experience with Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace tools
- Spanish, ASL, or other language proficiency desirable
- Experience creating and managing impactful digital paid, owned, and earned media and campaigns
- Fluency in tactics and best practices for digital communications and project management
- Committed teams player, attention to detail, excellent communication skills
- Commitment to the Family Values @ Work core values which includes breaking down the systems of oppression
- Degree in Marketing, Social/Political Sciences, Psychology or related fields (beneficial but not required).
HIRING PROCESS
While this may be subject to change, we anticipate the following process:
- 15-30-minute initial interview;
- 45-minute team interview;
- 90-minute final interview and problem solving session with the hiring supervisor;
- Calls with references;
- Verbal offer made to the final candidate;
- Final meeting with the hiring lead.
