Job Description
Optima is seeking a creative and passionate Design Studio Consultant to join our Design Team.   This role is crucial for ensuring our buyers have the best experience in selecting finishes for their luxury condominiums.  

The new position assists the buyer through the finished selection process providing a luxury Design Center Studio experience while following company policies and procedures.  

This position will interact with other departments as needed (Accounting, Project Manager, Construction, etc.).  You will be tasked with completing the required paperwork accurately and promptly.

  • What You'll Do
    Meet with clients to select their finish selections, collecting all the buyers' selections while adhering to predetermined deadlines for selections and documentation. 
  • Collaborate with clients to fulfill their desired design vision.
  • Be familiar with incoming products and specifications offered to our Buyers. 
  • Utilize Procore software to enter Finish selections and options. 
  • Prepare and draw plans for each client's unique space.  
  • Submit the finalized paperwork to the Buyer via DocuSign.  
  • Proceed with construction documentation and prepare and double-check paperwork before sending it to the field. 
  • Work some weekends and evenings per client request.


What You'll Need
 
  • Experience with customer service, contract documentation and finish selections, color selection, and construction knowledge. In the process of building customer relations through the selection process. 
  • A successful candidate will have a background that demonstrates a basic understanding of the home-building process.  
  • Excellent communication and computer skills are required.  
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam software, and Procore is a plus.

  • Design, product knowledge, and home-building knowledge are a plus. 
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, be detail oriented and have effective time- management skills.
  • Excellent communication, computer skills, and time management required.
  • Timely follow-up with customer needs.
