The Vice President of Marketing and eCommerce will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and eCommerce initiatives to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and improve customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, eCommerce best practices, and consumer behavior.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Strategic Vision :

Ability to lead and inspire teams, develop strategic plans, and align quality and product management with organizational goals.

Lead and develop the quality assurance and product management teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Manage layers of staff including multiple levels of management.

Primary accountability for key system functions with broad scope of influence throughout the organization.

Provide leadership and direction as an executive within the department.

Serve as key management representatives to the executive team.

Strategic Leadership :

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and eCommerce strategies aligned with company goals.

Lead market research efforts to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages.

Set performance goals and evaluate team performance.

Digital Marketing :

Design and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, and PPC.

Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimize results.

eCommerce Management:

Oversee the eCommerce platform, ensuring an optimal user experience, product assortment, and inventory management.

Implement strategies to increase online sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Brand Development :

Enhance brand positioning and messaging across all platforms.

Ensure consistent brand representation and customer experience both online and offline.

Collaboration :

Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Product Development, Customer Service) to ensure cohesive strategies and execution.

Collaborate with external partners and agencies for marketing initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting :

Monitor and report on key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.

Use analytics tools to track customer behavior and engagement.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in marketing and eCommerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and driving online sales.

Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and performance metrics.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS:

Marketing and eCommerce Growth Rate: Year-over-year or quarter-over-quarter growth in sales and customer base.

Market Share: Percentage of total market sales attributed to your initiatives.

Cross-Channel Performance: Performance metrics across different marketing channels to assess effectiveness and ROI.

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Total marketing expenses divided by the number of new customers acquired.

Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI): Revenue generated from marketing activities divided by the marketing spend.

Brand Awareness: Metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and brand recognition.

Online Sales Revenue: Total revenue generated from eCommerce activities.

Conversion Rate: Percentage of website visitors who make a purchase.

Average Order Value (AOV): Total revenue divided by the number of orders.

Cart Abandonment Rate: Percentage of users who add items to their cart but do not complete the purchase.

Pay Range:

$220,000-$250,000

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience, and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
