As a Principal Product Designer, you’ll work with creative thinkers, tech innovators, and savvy builders to help design and create products that disrupt the financial industry. Our products help make personal finance accessible to the millions of Americans that live paycheck to paycheck. If you're in search of a mission-driven company, we’d love to talk to you.The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $198,990 and up to $281,900. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco with 3 days per week in the office.What you can expectAct as an evangelist for design and our members.Partner with cross-functional colleagues to create products that bring positive change to our members' lives and grow the company.Provide design critique and offer leadership to others on the team.Use a human-centered design process to solve member problems.Contribute to our design standards and push them forward.To thrive in this role, you have8-10+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital and mobile experiences.A consistent record of building successful consumer mobile apps.A portfolio of industry-defining visual and interaction design samples.The ability to balance business objectives with user needs.The ability to take a first principles approach to sophisticated problems and articulate the decisions behind every design detail.A growth mindset, be an optimist, and be adaptable!Ability to code or build a prototype is a plus.A little about usAt Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
