Minimum Qualifications
High school or General Education Development (GED) diploma and 2 years of progressive experience in the audio-visual technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience providing audiovisual support for presentations and live events, preferably in the higher education settingValid driver's license upon the first day of employment and a clean driving recordLicense/Certification Required

Assist with evening and weekend operations of Mountaineer Audio Visual ProductionsAbility to supervise student staffAssist with set up, instruction, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment in various university locationsLoad/unload trucks and push pull carts with AV equipment in various weather conditions.Work with the Director & Assistant Director to understand and meet University constituents' needs for event support servicesPreferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of current AV technology systems and equipmentBasic knowledge of audio and video conferencing, video streaming software and equipmentHands-on technical skills and aptitude for troubleshooting and adjusting AV equipmentDemonstrate basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment and computer software systemsAbility to lead student team members and work effectively with clientsStrong computer skills and software skills (Mac & PC), including Powerpoint, Google Slides, Zoom, etc.Ability to provide excellent customer serviceExcellent listening, speaking, and written communication skillsMust be responsible, self-motivated, personable, well-organized and professionalFlexibility and ability to work collaborativelyAbility to work evening and weekend hoursValid driver's license upon the first day of employment and a clean driving recordAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
