SUMMARY We are seeking an Account Manager, Partnership Marketing to manage and grow a portfolio of partner accounts. The ideal candidate cares about the details and perfecting their craft, raises their hand to help teammates, and is a sponge when it comes to learning more about best-in-class activations and their partners' business and brand marketing efforts. This position reports to the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing. WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsible for the management, maintenance, renewal, and growth of high profile accounts which includes the implementation of partnership assets, the creation and activation of promotions, oversight of hospitality packages, community programs, media, and signage. Develop and implement marketing strategies for various accounts and initiatives. Establish relationships with both sponsors and media partners. Collaborate closely with the Partnership Development and Partner Solutions teams to ensure that inventory is accurately incorporated into renewal/upsell packages. Develop, improve and renew partner relationships by going above and beyond for contractual deliverables, and identify and successfully pursue opportunities to drive incremental value. Present ideas and opportunities to help grow the business of each partner by staying current on goals, objectives and the competitive corporate landscape in the market regionally, nationally, and globally. Partner with other departments on sponsored programs, including but not limited to Marketing, Game Presentation, Community Relations, and Ticketing. Attend Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center events to host sponsors and own the execution of in-arena promotions as well as support departmental events/functions. As the nature of business demands change so, too, may the essential functions of this position. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor's degree required. 2-4 years of partnership account management required. Sports industry experience preferred. Agency experience a plus. Proven record of hitting goals/budgets. Advanced skills Microsoft Office Suite required; proficiency with Salesforce CRM highly preferred. WHO YOU ARE Keen attention to detail, highly organized. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS May be required to travel on rare occasions (< 5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights. SALARY RANGE $65,000 - $75,000 base salary WORK ENVIRONMENT Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
