This internship offers a cross-functional project with your fellow interns, so you learn about LGRA's strategy and collaborate to help solve a key business issue.Purpose and ObjectiveOur internship program is an opportunity to explore an industry leader, like Legal & General Retirement America, consistently rated one of the best places to work! The Marketing Intern will collaborate with the Marketing team as well as others across the division and globally to support business growth, celebrate our people and culture, and increase brand awareness.Interns who succeed in this role will gain an in-depth understanding of one of the fastest growing financial service sectors while developing skills across different marketing channels such as digital, email marketing, social media, public relations, and internal communications.Role and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development of marketing collateral, such as presentations and market reports, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.Collaborate with team on social media campaigns, analyzing and comparing results to improve performance.Assist with design and distribution of internal email marketing campaigns.Support public relations efforts, joining biweekly calls with PR agency and assisting with press release development and interview preparation as needed.Assist in event planning and execution as required.Support the marketing team with other day-to-day tasks and projects.Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings on various topics.Collaborate with fellow interns across multiple departments on a cross functional project.Requirements
Qualifications* Rising Junior or Senior majoring in Marketing, Communications, or related field.* Knowledge of any or all of the following: content development, social media strategy, digital advertising, web development, internal communications, public relations, and brand building,* Creative with attention to detail* Fast learner and ability to work independently or collaboratively.* Critical thinker leveraging data driven research and analytics.* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, required.* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs a plus.Benefits
