Graphic Production Artist

Company DescriptionEstablished printing companyRole DescriptionThis is a full time on-site role located in Irving, TX for a Graphic Production Artist at Minuteman Press of Irving. The Graphic Production Artist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to graphic design and production, including creating and editing artwork, preparing files for print, printing the orders on digital small and large format printers using Fiery Command Workstation and ensuring the accuracy and quality of final prints. You should have a working knowledge of digital presses, cutters, folders and general print shop equipment.QualificationsProficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, very heavy on InDesign)Strong understanding of design principles and typographyAttention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy of final printsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectivelyExperience in print production and knowledge of printing processes is a plusPortfolio showcasing previous graphic design work is preferredWe offer paid holiday and paid vacation.
