Concept Artist

We are Uncommon Games, a venture-backed game studio started by passionate industry veterans. Our team has made games that have been played by millions of people! We are currently developing Animalkind, an ambitious new creative sandbox game with animals and mechs. We are looking to collaborate with talented artists to bring this new, exciting project to life.We are currently looking to hire freelance or short-term contract artists with the potential of extending into a long-term agreement.We are looking for artists to work with us to create high quality environment, prop and architectural concept artwork.We have a passion for games. If you do too, that’s an added bonus!Signing an NDA will be required before more information about the project is shared.Skills & Requirements

Extensive experience drawing environments, props and/or architectureExperience with a cute and cozy style/aestheticExperience designing assets for gamesExperience with creating turn-around sheets, color palettes, and texture references for 3D modelingAbility to create quick sketches to communicate a general idea or conceptExcellent sense of composition, lighting and color theoryAbility to work with team members to brainstorm ideas and develop creative variationsExperience with costume design and cosmetics is a bonusHow to Apply
