The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating designs that are on trend, brand right, and meet business/seasonal objectives for a leading major Men's activewear brand! This role will develop artwork from concept to production.Responsibilities:Research trend for Men's active branded and novelty capsule based graphicsCreate graphics that work either as stand-alone or collection/capsule, in partnership with cross-functional partners. This may include, but not limited to, graphic tees, apparel graphics, labeling, embroideries, fabric patterns, trims, etc.Stay abreast of new techniques and resources, while understanding technique application and its limitations.Flex creatively between various projects or requests as neededWork with proprietary PLM systemWork on tech pack artwork for sampling/development and productionReview strike-offs and work closely with cross-functional teams especially regarding pre and postproduction issuesMaintain graphic resources and libraries and keep team assets replenishedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Design, Textile Design or related disciplineMinimum of 5 years in the apparel industryStrong creative eye with proven artistic abilities and understanding of Men's activewear trendsExcellent computer skills (Photoshop and Illustrator)Through knowledge of graphic production (e.g. screenprinting, heat transfer, roller prints, sublimation, embossing, etc.)Excellent understanding of typographyAbility to manage multiple projects and shift priorities accordingly in a fast-paced and deadline driven environmentStrong organizational, time management, communication, and presentation skillsAnnual salary range starting $75,000The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package.
