The Role

We are seeking a Producer who has a deep passion for horror and supernatural genres, has FEATURE FILM Producer experience an understanding of market trends, and the skills to secure project financing. This role requires someone with strong industry connections, including established relationships with distribution companies like XYZ and NEON, finance circles, and major talent agencies. A love for horror and a desire to push the genre forward are essential.

Responsibilities

• Project Development & Oversight

  Manage projects from development through post-production, working closely with writers, directors, and the creative team to bring high-quality, genre-defining films to life.

  
  

• Financing & Distribution

  Leverage your existing finance and industry connections to secure funding and develop distribution strategies, particularly with partners like XYZ and NEON.

  
  

• Agency Relations

  Utilize agency relationships to attract talent, package projects, and negotiate for financing, ensuring top-level talent involvement in every production.

  
  

• Networking and Market Expansion

  Actively engage with distributors, festival programmers, and potential buyers to grow Schoolhouse Pictures’ brand and reach.
