The role can be based in any of the firm's offices and reports to the firm's Director of Strategic and Market Intelligence.

Job Summary

The Innovation Marketing Specialist is a member of the firm's Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team and is responsible for promoting and selling our proprietary software applications. You will create marketing materials that help to build and maintain our brand reputation as a leader in legal innovation.

Working closely with our Innovation department, including product owners and developers, you will understand the features and benefits of our software solutions and communicate them effectively to our target audiences. Additionally, this role will serve as a champion supporting the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and other technologies within the Marketing and Business Development team.

Specific Job Duties

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for our software applications, including webinars, demos, email marketing, social media, and events.


  • Create and update marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, case studies, and videos that highlight the value proposition and competitive advantages of our software solutions.


  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and feedback, and to monitor industry trends and competitors.


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders - including firm leadership, partners, and business services colleagues across departments - to build awareness of product offerings, ensure consistency of marketing messages, and optimize the client experience.


  • Serve as a key contact for the Innovation team, providing insight on client preferences and needs and communicating with Marketing and Business Development colleagues about Innovation projects in the pipeline.


  • Support sales process and client onboarding, including responding to client inquiries for more information and coordinating product demos and free trials. Track sales pipeline activity and ensure progress towards sales goals.


  • Support development of engaging and informative content for our website, blog, newsletter, and other channels that highlight our innovation efforts and thought leadership.


  • Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns, and report on key performance indicators and return on investment.


  • Together with department leaders, champion adoption of Artificial Intelligence and help to communicate best practices across the MBD team.


Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


  • Team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision making and optimize marketing performance.


  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and generate new ideas.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver compelling and persuasive marketing content.


  • Some professional services experience, preferably in the legal industry.


  • At least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in promoting and selling software applications.


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.


For New York, and Westchester the expected salary range for this position is between $46.60 and $53.10 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
