LPA is seeking a
Marketing Director
to manage our marketing and business development efforts to strategically generate, pursue, and close business with clients. They must possess deep expertise in proposal creation and have a strategic mindset to drive business growth in collaboration with our practice directors.
This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to mentoring and guiding our marketing and business development teams. The Marketing Director is responsible for ensuring our brand is well positioned in the market, leading efforts to secure new business through innovative and compelling proposals and strengthening relationships with clients and industry partners.
What you will do:
Strategic Leadership
Oversee the optimization of the CRM system to enhance client relationship tracking, lead generation, marketing reporting and data visualization.Develop, maintain and analyze practice budgets, expenditures, and customer relationship management reports to improve marketing efforts.Collaborate with Integrated Communications team and Practice Directors to identify market opportunities, competitive positioning, and brand differentiation.Stay informed about marketing trends, best practices and technologies.Lead strategic marketing initiatives and updates to executive leadership.Proposal Development
Oversee and manage the end-to-end proposal creation process, ensuring alignment with client needs, industry trends, and the firm's capabilities.Lead the marketing team in crafting clear, compelling, and visually appealing proposals that resonate with target clients, and event.Establish best practices for proposal submissions, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and consistency.Advance proposal development with use of technology and creative visualization.Collaborate with Integrated Communications to lead coordinated development of all marketing collateral.Team Leadership & Mentoring
Guide and mentor the marketing and business development teams, fostering growth and development within the department.Provide coaching on effective communication strategies, proposal writing, and client engagement techniques.Ensure alignment between marketing, business development, and brand teams to support combined business objectives.Actively participates in industry associations.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.15+ years of related experience is required, preferably within the (AEC) industry.Strong focus on proposal creation.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing teams.Experience managing and optimizing CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus).Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into compelling marketing materials.Proficiency in proposal management software and other marketing tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
