One of our top clients in Pasadena, CA is looking for a Content Specialist to join their team! Please apply if you have experience with creating and managing content, writing and editing digital media, and translating data into actionable recommendations!Specific day-to-day responsibilitiesConceive and create evergreen content strategies to complement ongoing brand and library campaignsConduct quantitative and qualitative discovery as necessary, e.g., content audits, market and competitor analysis, SEO and audience research, and content gap analysisApply learnings from data to identify keywords to target, topics to cover, and content formats to leveragePartner closely with our analytics team to create and pivot content and content marketing campaigns based on data and reportingCollaborate with creative team members in project team, communicating recommendations and reasoning; stay on top of project timelines, deliverables, and status updatesEvangelize and socialize content strategy standards and processes to stakeholdersWork related5+ years experience creating and managing interactive content, and 5+ years experience writing and editing for digital media required; journalism experience preferredExperience translating demographic, qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., content audits, market and competitor analysis, user research impact) into consumable, actionable content recommendationsProven ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment and across a matrixed organizationExperience working with an editorial team and familiarity with AP style a plusSkillsetDemonstrated experience in creating and applying both short- and long-term user content journeys to drive improved outcomesOutstanding communication and writing skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentFamiliarity with maintaining basic content architecture and content management principlesFamiliarity with content management systems such as AEM or WordPress, plus Google Analytics, SEO, and multi-channel analytics
