Job Description
- The Paid Marketing Specialist will support the university's Digital Marketing Department in paid digital marketing efforts, mainly focusing on post baccalaureate programs. The primary responsibilities will include creating, managing, and optimizing paid search and paid social campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta advertising platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience in paid digital marketing, a solid understanding of digital marketing campaign strategy, and a proven ability to drive performance through data-driven decisions, meeting key performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to enhance campaign performance
- Monitor campaign budgets and adjust bidding strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI)
- Analyze campaign performance data for contribution of reporting with actionable insights
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align campaigns with broader marketing initiatives and goals
- Perform A/B testing of ad creatives, copy, and landing pages to drive engagement and conversions
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to ad delivery or performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Google Ads certification or equivalent training in digital marketing platforms is a plus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in paid digital marketing, specifically in managing and optimizing paid search (Google Ads) and paid social campaigns (LinkedIn, Meta)
- Proven track record of improving key performance metrics such as click-through rate (CTR), cost-per-click (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Proficiency in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, audience segmentation, and targeting strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and overall campaign performance
- Familiarity with analytics platforms like Google Analytics for tracking and reporting on campaign performance
- Experience working in Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar CRM a plus
- Experience managing budgets and adjusting bidding strategies to maximize ROI
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders; collaborate and work effectively with the team and other departments
