The Opportunity
Adobe is the market leader in software products and services for the creative & marketing ecosystem through Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Express, Firefly and Experience Cloud.
Adobe has made industry-leading progress in addressing the enterprise need for new, scalable ways to create ideas and assets with genAI-infused workflows and products. Adobe Digital Media's recent launch of genAI-powered products for enterprises including: Firefly Services (APIs), Firefly Custom Models, Object Composites, Style Kits and unique AI features within flagship products like Adobe Photoshop, Express and Illustrator.
The Senior Manager, Creative Enterprise Developer Relations will play a critical role in evolving Adobe's strategy with enterprise developers at Adobe's top accounts. You will dive deep into Firefly GenAI and Creative Cloud authoring and editing technologies. Through your ability to imagine possibilities, problem-solve, write code and develop great relationships with enterprise developer communities, you will chart a delightful developer experience and accompany developers throughout their journey.
What you'll do
- Write and edit technical specifications for external use; provide feedback to other service teams creating external endpoints.
- Develop and maintain delightful demos, sample code and reference apps using modern web technologies.
- Provide developers with hands-on support and mentorship throughout the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Participate in the developer support channels. Mobilize cross-functional support where needed.
- Build specialized educational materials, tutorials, and resources aimed to guide developers at building high-quality integrations that address end user's daily challenges.
- Cultivate a strong sense of internal and external community by effectively engaging with developers, soliciting feedback, and participating in developer events and forums.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and developer advocates to align support and community efforts with the platform's overall strategic goals.
- Ideate and code creative enterprise product and workflow prototypes using knowledge of creative production, Adobe APIs, external APIs, and customer needs.
- Use other emerging technologies (e.g., products, APIs) and synthesize technical trends and impact to Adobe (so-what, then-what).
- Influence product platform roadmaps where relevant. Gather technical product feedback from sales, customer success and professional services organizations.
- Serve as technical expert on emerging technologies in Adobe Firefly Services (APIs), Creative Cloud technologies, and corresponding Digital Experience APIs and technologies.
What you will need to succeed
- Minimum technical skills: JavaScript / Node.JS (server-side, front end), API tools (Postman, App Builder), HTML/CSS, React (Spectrum or similar), Python a plus, Low-code connectors a plus (PowerAutomate, Zapier, Mendix).
- 5+ years as a developer (full-stack preferred, familiar with API methodology/usage).
- Deep technical and customer knowledge across creative, document, digital experience, generative AI, and workflow/low-code spaces.
- Superior technical writing skills.
- Build the future mindset & around the corner thinking.
- Ability to work autonomously, track record of delivering on-time.
- Work well across functions and engineering teams.
- Extreme owner mentality; founder-style work ethic.
Nice to Haves
- Experience across creative, document and marketing workflows (image editing, video, audio, 3D, analytics, work management, pdf).
- Exceptional executive and customer communication skills, capable of conveying sophisticated technical and product ideas.
- Ability to storyboard, produce, and edit working demos using Pr, Ps, AEM, Workfront, Frame, Express etc.
- Experience in developer relations, advocacy, or technical community engagement.
- Experience building and deploying enterprise-grade software, with an understanding of enterprise development cycles and the unique challenges they present.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
