This is a Audience Development Analyst position in Irvine, CA.Responsibilities: manage the workflow and production of recurring and ad hoc reports & data requests. The analyst is also expected to be comfortable translating data findings into actionable insights and key takeaways during recurring and one-off presentations. In this role, the analyst must feel confident in their ability to both identify trends in data and pinpoint opportunities. The analyst should be comfortable communicating with various levels of organizational stakeholders, in support of improving content performance and driving community insights.The Audience Development team is seeking a driven and skilled Social Analyst to support data-driven performance tracking, reporting, and audience development initiatives for multiple franchise social media channels.This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Audience Development and will support the manager and team in providing regular reports, channel strategy insights, and platform best practices to key stakeholders. The analyst will also work in tandem with digital marketing teams, the content operations team, and other key internal & external partners. In this role you will contribute directly to monitoring the overall health of social media and video platforms for large game franchises. Analyze large data sets from a variety of sources. Contribute to ad hoc workflows with a self-starter mindset. Identify hypotheses for testing and learnings opportunities. Test hypotheses and tie abstract data findings into clear insights. Develop or improve familiarity with native social media analytics tools. Create and deliver weekly social listening & channel performance reporting. Support focused reporting on major/key publishin g and game release beats. Support social teams in content planning by providing data-backed insights. Develop expertise in all analytics tooling in-use by team. Presenting findings in meetings with variety of stakeholders. Maintain knowledge of current platform and content-archetype best practices. Team player, advocate and consistent communicator. Establish and maintain knowledge of current franchise communities. Establish and maintain knowledge of content cycles (patches, expansions, major beats).This is a full-time 6-month contract on a hybrid and/or remote working in Pacific Time zone work hours opportunity.The ideal candidate will have: 2+ years' data analysis experience in media planning and/or social media management. Solid knowledge and understanding of Sprinklr, native social analytics platforms, and other data-focused platforms. Experience with social listening data analysis. Ability to combine contextual information with data to create informed recommendations. Strong analytical and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Data visualization skills. Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets. Proficient in Powerpoint/Google Slides. Able to quickly learn new analytics tools and platforms.
