This role requires a strategic leader who can develop and execute innovative strategies to maximize revenue from YouTube's various features, including Super Chats, merchandise shelves, and paid content. The VP will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, artists, and managers to ensure that commerce initiatives are seamlessly integrated into broader marketing and content strategies.Here you’ll get to:Strategic Leadership:Define and execute strategies for YouTube monetization, digital commerce, and ad revenue generationOptimize revenue from YouTube ancillary features such as Super Chats, merchandise shelves, and paid contentCross-Functional Collaboration:Work with marketing, content, and product teams to integrate commerce initiatives into broader strategiesAlign initiatives with revenue goals and assure their execution across all customer touchpointsCollaborate with content teams to identify trending content opportunities that align with commerce goals, ensuring seamless product and promotion integration into YouTube contentWork with internal stakeholders to ensure that fully integrated programs and campaigns are designed to drive top line growthPerformance Monitoring & Reporting:Report weekly and quarterly to key stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendationsTrack, analyze, and report on CMS progress and performance metrics, such as growth, RPM, and UGCServe as the point of contact for administrative YouTube issues within the organizationEstablish and maintain qualitative and quantitative metrics, including KPIs for emerging and established artistsMarket & Industry Insight:Stay informed about current and emerging trends in YouTube products, features, monetization, and user consumptionMaintain thorough knowledge of YouTube’s engagement and agreements with Warner Records/WMG, understanding the commercial, monetization, and user consumption implicationsKPI Management:Establish key results reporting KPI criteria and continually optimize marketing strategies to meet these hurdlesDrive KPIs and organizational goals with a focus on artist and partner relationshipsDevelop best practices and toolkits to assist artists in leveraging YouTube’s platforms Innovation & E-Commerce Strategy:Deploy innovative strategies based on the evolving landscape of e-commerce, consumer behavior, and the music industryIntegrate e-commerce at scale through initiatives such as merch store integrations, live stream purchasing, and partnerships with influencersAbout you:Extensive experience in digital commerce, YouTube monetization, and partnership managementProven track record of driving revenue and optimizing digital performanceStrong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skillsIn-depth understanding of CMS, YouTube’s products, features, and content strategiesAbility to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insightsCreative and innovative thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce and consumer behavior trendsWe’d love it if you also had:8-10 Years of Relevant ExperienceExperience with Google WorkspaceAbout us: As the home to 10K Projects, 300 Elektra, Asylum, Atlantic, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs.
