Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and strategic Video Content Preset Strategist to help shape the future of short-form video creation. You’ll analyze trends from leading video platforms and editing tools, transforming these insights into innovative content presets and styles. In collaboration with our design and development teams, you’ll bring dynamic, ready-to-use video effects and formats to life, ensuring they captivate a global, youth-driven audience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze content trends across short-form video platforms (TikTok, Snap, Instagram, CapCut, etc.) to identify popular themes and extract creative inspiration that can be productized into video presets.
  2. Define and develop content presets (editing styles, effects, pre-made formats), working closely with designers and developers to launch them, track performance, and refine based on data insights.
  3. Lead or support strategic direction for content preset modules, delivering actionable strategies to guide future development.
  4. Source, onboard, and nurture external content creators, building a community that enriches the diversity and quality of available video effects and formats.


Qualifications:

  1. Strong grasp of digital content trends, with a keen understanding of what young users enjoy on TikTok, Snap, and similar platforms, and the ability to differentiate between platform-specific trends and emerging opportunities.
  2. Passionate about video content creation and effects, excelling in at least one area such as high-end aesthetics, technical editing, humor, creativity, or viral content formats.
  3. Hands-on experience with creating video presets or effects, or a background in film, video production, or design, with knowledge of various video editing styles and techniques.
  4. 2+ years of experience in video content strategy or development, with a demonstrated ability to conceptualize and produce engaging video presets.
  5. Bonus: Experience as a content creator or influencer on TikTok, Snap, Instagram, etc.
