This individual will work with the Creative Director, Art Director, other designers, photographers, content creators and will be responsible for the creation, execution and delivery of graphics that elevate our teams' brands across merchandise, broadcast, digital media, live events, in-stadium signage and much more.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGraphic design for Orlando City, Orlando Pride, Orlando City B, and Club Partners as assigned, with a focus on branding, digital media, merchandise, and co-branded partner design.Collaborate with the marketing team on overall brand/campaign ideation and design that defines and manifests the brand voice for the organization.Assist Content team with static graphics, including social media graphics and smart templates (e.g. web shells, gameday asset templates, etc.).Assist with ideation and design of Club and stadium signage, including mockups and print-ready files for large scrims, billboards and public adverts.Collaborate with internal departments to deliver requested creative assets that meet functional needs and aesthetically match the club's brand guidelines across Comms, Commercial, Corporate, Content and sporting departments.Coordinate partnerships/collaboration with local artists for Gameday Poster Program and other art-driven Club initiatives.Lead design ideation, development and planning for CITYiD (Orlando City's apparel customization program).Design team apparel/merchandise as needed.Assist with coaching/mentoring Graphic Design associate.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in graphic design, illustration, or related field, preferred.Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint / KeynoteMinimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in graphic design role, preferred.Strong digital design portfolio demonstrating full breath of design experience.Exceptional creative abilities: looking to push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas.Fundamental graphic design expertise including strong typography, layout and illustration skillsAbility to blend art, music, pop, local, and soccer/Supporter cultural references into design language.Demonstrated ability to design within the constraints of brand standardsAbility to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.Ability to work independently, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.Team-centric attitude and approachWillingness to utilize / learn a project management system and process.Able to work non-traditional hours and weekends in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.PREFERANCES Design / Creative agency or Professional Sports team experience.Understanding and passion for American and International soccer cultureBilingual / Multilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese in addition to English preferred)Experience with project management and communication apps Slack & MondayWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
