Interior Design Coordinator
to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. Our clients are both public and private and represent nine different market segments so your career can take many different trajectories. Examples of projects completed by our San Antonio studio include Casis Elementary School, Lanier High School, and Pleasanton Elementary School.

What you will do:
Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPAYou will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the projectThe Design Coordinator will partner with Project Managers and Project Designers in the execution of specific assignments including overseeing documentation of interior spaces for education buildingsPrepare documentation and oversee documentation for design development and construction documentsOversee the production work of junior designersReview and process construction administration documentsOrganize research for product and construction methods related to projectsMentor-ship from project leaders and managing directors, provide mentorship to junior designersWhat we will do:
Provide mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors as well as other in-house disciplines on all projectsProvide career growth opportunities including licensure materials and financial incentives, professional development grants and our professional development processIn-house management and leadership training opportunitiesEducation opportunities including LPA+U and LPA Tech TalksInterior Design Coordinator Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture required5+ years of experience in all phases of interior architecture projectsActively pursuing NCIDQ (or already certified) and LEED accreditationProficiency in Revit. Good knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferredKnowledge of building codes, related regulations, construction materials and specifications preferredDemonstrate independence, innovation, and vision with program, project design and implementationCommitment to pursue high quality construction documents

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity.
