Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Assist design teams in developing design strategies and priorities to achieve desired sustainability goals including third-party certifications such as LEED, WELL, ILFI and othersWork closely with studio Project Managers to support all aspects of LEED rating system projects including project registration, credit documentation, submittal, and review commentsStay up to date on project schedules and positioning within the LEED certification process, including coordination of internal and external action items required to complete LEED documentationAssist in design reviews to compile LEED compliance reports and action item listsAttend and take minutes for project meetingsCreate, update and improve internal process templatesAssist with healthy and sustainable materials research and product vettingSupport multiple projects at varying stages in the design and construction processProvide research support to Project Managers on cutting edge sustainable design and construction strategies and technologiesAttend seminars, workshops, and conferences to stay up to date on innovative industry schemesQualificationsQualifications:Bachelors’ degree in a field related to building science such as architecture, engineering, or construction management3+ years of relevant experience with LEED and/or other third-party certification project work including documenting credits on LEED OnlineLEED AP BD+C or ID+CAbility to read and interpret formal construction documents, inclusive Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscape, and Civil plan sets and specificationsKnowledge of Construction Specification Institute (CSI) formatKnowledge of WELL Building Standard and Living Building ChallengeProficient use of Microsoft OfficeAn innate attention to detailA team player that gets the job done and sees no task as too smallThrives on building and managing relationships with clients as well as team membersUnderstands the importance of efficiency and know how to work smart, not just hardA passion for sustainabilityCorgan creates opportunities for personal and professional growth that bring out the best in ourselves and those around us by sharpening skills, leveraging technology, and encouraging communication.
