HDR is looking for an O&M Facilities Design Business Class Director. This position is a leadership position requiring the skills and experience to manage our facilities design services organization, develop strategic visions and tactical plans, contemplate and participate in the hiring process, promote staff interaction and communication, promote staff

technical development and involvement in technical programs, manage work-share and project assignments and provide direct project support in leading select projects or other related assignments nationwide. Position requires specialized knowledge of vehicle fleet maintenance facilities for aviation, bus transit, rail transit, municipal, utilities and education market sectors to enhance our ability to support decision-making during the critical system planning, programming, design and operational stages. As the Business Class Director for operations and maintenance facilities design you will be leading the group to help clients optimize their operations - from planning and design through operations and maintenance. This role is a key management role and will work with other Business Groups, Market Sectors, Business Classes and Cross Sectors in supporting their client's project needs. Thus, the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment is a must.

The Director will also participate in select marketing activities by supporting or developing project proposals, staffing assignments, identification of sub-consultants and other duties as necessary. Involvement in all phases of project development is expected. This position requires travel to support select project pursuits and delivery nationally. This role can be based out of our offices in Denver, Los Angles, Nashville, Houston, Bellevue, Charleston or Baltimore.

The geographic location of this position is non-specific; however, a location with significant HDR presence i

preferred. The average travel requirement is estimated at 50% with monthly variations between 30% and 70%.

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related fieldA minimum of 10 years of experience in related fieldMaintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experienceExperienced in development and management of diverse teamsWorks cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class effortsCommitted to quality, improvement and HDR valuesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
