Product Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
Molex Power and Signal Business Unit is looking for a product marketing professional driven to develop intuitive and engaging sales tools, product collateral and promotional material.
The ideal candidate is energized by working with Product Managers to translate their strategy into product marketing initiatives that increase customer adoption. They must be capable of owning those projects while influencing and driving supporting action through the Molex corporate marketing team.
Essential Functions:Develop promotional tools, product collateral and sales tools for use by Molex sales team, distribution partners and customers to facilitate customer product adoption. These tools include but are not limited to print, video, digital and web-based collateral, physical sample kits and demonstration units.Work collaboratively with product management teams in both US and AsiaUnderstand the Molex corporate marketing team capabilities and processes to leverage their expertise and drive projects to completion.Prepare targeting and positioning messaging outlines for sales collateral, website copy, outbound marketing, presentations and other promotions.Create targeted presentation material for both external and internal use.Manage upkeep of existing digital collateral as well as digital assets.Effectively manage multiple marketing initiatives and priorities while hitting key timelines.Identify new opportunities for product promotion in support of business unit goalsWho You Are:
5+ years of experience working in B-B marketing5+ years of experience working within the electronics industryAbility to influence without authorityDriven to improve the customer experienceCan effectively build relationships with both product management teammates and marketing resources navigating corporate dynamics to get results.Capable of identifying and documenting key targeting and product positioning details in preparation for copy writers.Enjoys creating simple ways of educating the sales channel and customersSelf-motivated and organized to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workloadWhat Puts You Ahead:
Experience in the connector industryKnowledge of the electronics component sales channels and engineering perspectivesProduct management experience
