Position: Assistant Community Manager

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: San Jose, CA 95112

Qualifications: Candidates should have experience with special needs populations, high-acuity settings, or high-acuity properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule income verification appointments, prepare/process lease agreements, and manage the housing wait list

  • Assist with re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, and compliance reviews (MOR and TCAC)

  • Issue notices, manage vacancies, and oversee turnover forms

  • Support rent collection, handle security deposits, and manage petty cash and bank deposits

  • Inspect the property for maintenance and security issues

  • Build relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies

  • Coordinate property inspections and ensure timely processing of maintenance work orders

  • Maintain confidential resident and property files

  • Communicate emergency procedures to residents and organize logistics for resident meetings

  • Perform additional duties as needed

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
