The Advertising Account Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between member retailers and the advertising/marketing department, ensuring that all member retailer needs are met and advertising tactics and campaigns are executed effectively. This role involves planning, managing, and analyzing advertising strategies across multiple platforms, with a focus on delivering results that align with the member retailers' marketing goals. The ideal candidate must have a strong working knowledge of both traditional and digital advertising, retail media, and prior experience working in an advertising or marketing agency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned member retailers, managing relationships and ensuring member retailer satisfaction.
- Understand member retailers' business objectives, marketing strategies, and campaign goals to provide tailored advertising solutions.
- Regularly communicate with member retailers to provide updates, gather feedback, and discuss campaign performance.
- Identify gaps in member retailers omnichannel customer touchpoints and recommend AWG advertising services to strengthen their overall omnichannel presence.
- Lead, train and mentor advertising account specialists' team.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, media, and digital) to develop and implement advertising campaigns across traditional, digital, and retail media platforms.
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for weekly production.
- Coordinate the production of advertising materials, including digital ads, print ads, digital, and video content.
- Ensure campaigns and weekly print are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Work with analysts to track the performance of advertising campaigns using analytics tools and KPIs.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to member retailers, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Review post-campaign analysis to measure success and identify areas for future optimization.
Budget Management:
- Manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Provide member retailers with detailed budget forecasts and manage invoicing and billing processes.
- Manage P&L statements of assigned member retailer and division advertising activity.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes.
- Assist in the development of new business proposals and pitches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in advertising, account management, or a related role.
- Previous experience working in an advertising or marketing agency is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of both traditional advertising (print, TV, radio, etc.), digital advertising (social media, display ads, programmatic, etc.), and retail media.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Supermarket industry experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- 4-year degree in business / marketing field.
- 3-5 years' experience in marketing/advertising agency.
- Superior communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to execute resourcefully across multiple tasks.
- Desire to work in a collaborative, dynamic, flexible and team-oriented environment while
- managing one's own time and responsibilities effectively.
- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.
- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present information
- clearly and concisely.
- Solid analytic and measurement skills and the ability to create meaningful recaps to
- demonstrate digital campaign effectiveness.
- Working knowledge of profit and loss statements.
- Software: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); Adobe Creative Suite.
- Capable of leading a team of advertising account specialists
Work Environment:
- This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office.
- This position may require occasional travel to meet with member retailers or attend industry events.
- This role may involve working outside regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
