The Round Rock Express is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the creative marketing team. Candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of design best practices, layout, and typography. The position requires a person to be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working under a deadline in a fast-paced sports environment.
This is a full-time position that will assist in expanding and maintaining the brand of the Round Rock Express Baseball Club, the Nolan Ryan Foundation as well as designing graphics for events, products, initiatives and offerings of both entities.

Job Questions:
This is a full-time position that will assist in expanding and maintaining the brand of the Round Rock Express Baseball Club, the Nolan Ryan Foundation as well as designing graphics for events, products, initiatives and offerings of both entities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement creative initiatives, including brand identity and creative direction for all aspects of the Round Rock Express and Nolan Ryan Foundation
- Create content to promote the brands through projects such as logo design, web graphics, social identity, in-game graphics, digital signage, advertisements, motion graphics, among others
- Design print materials including ads, flyers, programs, posters, and schedules
- Collaborate with sales team and marketing lead to formulate and conceptualize creative ideas
- Ensure that brand standards and guidelines are consistently adapted across all content
- Assist with various Round Rock Express duties, oftentimes during non-traditional work hours and sometimes in less-than-ideal weather conditions

- General knowledge of baseball
Qualifications:
- One-to-two years experience in a sports related environment
- Ability to formulate design concepts from idea to completion with strong understanding of the principles of design
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Previous use of SmartSheet a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, or related field
- Strong portfolio
