Our Audio-Visual (AV) portfolio is expanding, and we are looking for AV Technicians at all levels. Locations include Washington DC or Ashburn, VA. Additionally, we often have openings for the following positions:

Responsibilities:
Depending on your skills and experience you may be aligned to a role that includes one of the below sets of responsibilities:
- Conduct hardware maintenance and minor installations on equipment.
- Undertake minor system tasks (e.g., loading software and rebooting systems) in support of hardware maintenance and operations functions.
- Install and incorporate new releases, updates, or other changes to COTS hardware and software (diagnostics failures or potential failure predictions).
- Operate and apply automated hardware management and diagnostics systems, including remote management and diagnostics) and interpret findings to maintain, repair, or upgrade hardware.
- Coordinate maintenance of AV equipment.
- Plan, execute, and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance.
- Provide recommendations on spares, spares program, planning, and tracking operational spares and bench stock.
- Provide technical assistance to responding field service personnel.
OR;
- Utilize AMX programming skills to manage, operate, and maintain a large array of AV equipment and AV suites.
- Perform AV programming tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner.
- Manage customer needs and schedules along with prioritization of work across a broad enterprise of AV systems with varying levels of usage and dependencies.
- Perform touch panel design and configuration, read, and interpret electronic schematics to troubleshoot, and repair systems.
- Assist with customer training and knowledge/use transfer within a diverse customer base in a sensitive work environment.
- Work as a key member of a team to assist with troubleshooting and solutioning to ensure high-visibility systems remain available and fully functional.
- Use advanced knowledge of AV, control signal flow, and test equipment to troubleshoot systems.
OR;
- Works in various production roles to include AV producer, videographer, technical director, editor, lighting director, audio mixer, writer, and graphic artist.
- Demonstrates expertise in supporting and assisting in the setup of video productions in both studio and field environments, plus auditorium live events.
- Demonstrates skills as producer, videographer, editor, graphic/motion graphic artist, production skills to support video projects.
- Supports live event productions in high-definition video facility with video switchers, audio mixers, routers, digital still stores, HD/4K cameras, teleconferencing systems, and servers.
- Produces, directs, writes, films, and/or edits audiovisual assignments related to the Defense Intelligence Agency.
- Produces long and short format videos for various programs, training videos, PSAs and online/digital/social media.
- Collaborates with multiple stakeholders, project managers, multiple media professionals and contractors to prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing needs and strategies to satisfy agency goals and objectives.
- Perform as lighting director in both studio and field lighting techniques, maintaining a consistent look across multiple sessions for various video productions.
- Receives video assignments from the Chief of Video Operations and works in conjunction with the OCC2B Video Operations Team.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: These are all full-time positions that operate 100% onsite unless otherwise indicated by, and at the discretion of, the Program Manager and customer. Work will occur between the operating hours of 0600 and 1800.
TRAVEL: The primary places of work are the DIA Headquarters located at Joint Base Anacostia, OR, our Corporate Headquarters in Ashburn, VA. Some positions may require travel to customer sites within the National Capital Region based on team assignments and other task order work related to our customer.
Qualifications:
CLEARANCE:
- Active Top Secret/SCI and CI Polygraph. ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration. These positions are not open for any additional clearance upgrades outside of the CI Poly, reactivation, or sponsorship. ***
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS:
- Audio Visual, audio systems, broadcast equipment, or computer or IT system experience.
- Wiring, cabling, or IT infrastructure experience.
- IT, AV, or Audio system troubleshooting and solutioning experience.
- AV cabling or hardware component configuration or wiring experience.
- Troubleshooting computer-based hardware and software related IT, AV, broadcast, or audio components/infrastructure.
OR;
- Experience in the field of AV Engineering, Design, Programming, and lifecycle Maintenance.
- Certification for AMX Programming (AMX ACE (Control System Programming Expert) certification)
- ICIA CTS audiovisual systems training/certification
OR;
- Proficiency as a videographer/cinematographer with a wide variety of cameras such as digital cinema cameras, video cameras and DSLR's.
- Proficiency as an editor with non-linear computer editing systems and software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, etc.
- Manage program hours and projects labor, critical milestones, to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and schedule work to complete assignments in timely and effective manner.

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for the advertised job, promotion, or transfer opportunity. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The actual salary offered may vary based on various factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, education, geographic location, as well as internal equity, and alignment to market data.

Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
