About this Program
The Rocket City Trash Pandas are the proud Double-A Affiliate of the LA Angels and are looking to build on a successful reputation of delivering an unrivaled fan experience from state-of-the-art Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama.
The club is offering Broadcast Production Internships for individuals seeking course credit and hands-on experience in a live production environment. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work as part of a team to enhance the Trash Pandas brand and atmosphere at Toyota Field and the team's 70+ live broadcasts per year, including Trash Pandas Baseball, SEC Baseball, and the Rocket City Softball Showcase featuring 11 Division I College Softball teams.
This program is for currently enrolled college students who wish to develop a career in broadcast and stadium production and will receive course credit from their college or university. The successful Associate will complete the term with valuable, hands-on experience to advance their career in the sports and entertainment industries.

Broadcast Production Internship Responsibilities Include:
- Operating a Gameday Control Room Position (Camera Operator, Audio Mixing, Replay Operator, Scoreboard, Graphics Systems, etc.)
- Assist with the setup, operation and breakdown of Video and Photo Shoots
- Assist with the preparation of Control Room on Gamedays
- Other Duties as assigned which may include assisting the other departments within the Organization including Promotions, Food & Beverage/Concessions, for example
Job Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled college (or high school) student seeking course credit
- Passion for Sports & Entertainment
- Ability to take direction and communicate feedback in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Live Production Atmosphere is a plus
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work on short notice
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Must work well with others at all levels of organization
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
