Job Description: Aerospace Client is seeking a talented and proactive Video Multimedia Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be an early- to mid-career professional with a passion for visual storytelling and a drive to take on leadership roles in creative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead key multimedia projects, providing creative direction and style guidance
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships, collaborating directly to shape compelling narratives
3. Work with directors to determine all aspects of shots and provide practical and creative input to scene planning
4. Select, assemble, and position equipment (cameras, stands, software, etc.)
5. Prepare cameras, test angles, and execute camera movements
6. Shoot scenes and capture quality footage from fixed or moving positions according to requirements
7. Collaborate with make-up artists, lighting, and sound staff to produce the best final effect
8. Advanced production skills while coordinating project logistics
9. Offer strategic input and creative problem-solving for video solutions
10. Understand and adhere to company policies while effectively managing key stakeholder expectations
11. Make independent project decisions to ensure successful outcomes
12. Resolve technical or practical issues as they arise
13. Edit footage to a high level of creativity as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a camera operator and in photo/video production
- Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, cranes, etc.)
- Strong editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard software
- Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage
- Ability to understand and follow camera scripts
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with live event production, particularly webcasts
- Adaptability to various project types, from tradeshows to marketing campaigns
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Team player mentality
- Attention to detail
- Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina
- Excellent color vision and hearing
Education:
- High school diploma required
- Degree in film, media, or relevant field is a plus
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in the field

- Technical directing for live webcasts
- Capturing and editing airshow/tradeshow coverage
- Associate producing and editing external campaign projects
